Get Involved!

There are many ways to support the Faith, Family, Fairness Alliance. We are working in multiple areas that support our mission of just and fair treatment for GLBT Minnesotans:

We help interested members of various Minnesota faith communities find and network with each other, for support around common issues and concerns of faith, justice and equality for all people.
We seek to educate others through public forums, personal testimonies and workshops on issues of faith, justice, family life, and sexual orientation.
We are actively involved in the legislative process, engaging our legislators in discussion of the issues, voicing our views, and encourage individuals to vote according to one's conscience.
We also seek to help other people of faith express their concerns to their elected officials and be actively involved in civic life.
We seek to preserve the freedom of religion for all people and the separation of Church and State that protects our liberty to worship and believe as our faith dictates.

We have a steering committee that can quickly find a home for your talents! We also have several working groups. These groups meet during monthly FFFA/OutFront Minnesota People of Faith Roundtables, and some groups meet between Roundtables. Please consider participating in:

Education - developing training resources, speakers bureau
Media - print & broadcast
Resolution - FFFA is working with OutFront and TogetherMinnesota! to encourage faith communities and congregations to sign a resolution OPPOSING any state constitutional restrictions on equality for GLBT citizens. Learn more on our Resolution page...RESOLUTION NOW AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD.
